Coppull St. John's is 150 Years Old!
10th-15th June 2024 - what a brilliant week of celebration!
Monday 10th June
We started the week off with a 'Victorian Day'. Staff and children dressed up as teachers and pupils from the era in which our school was built, to explore what lessons would have been like in those days. We did realistic lessons throughout the day, including handwriting on chalk boards and doing 'drill' in the afternoon!

Tuesday 11th June
We were delighted to welcome Bishop Philip and previous staff members of St. John's school to a special commemorative worship service. This was followed by the planting of a commemorative tree in the school grounds and rounded off with some traditional maypole dancing by the children!

Visit from Mr Briggs!
We were honoured to have a visit from Mr Bill Briggs, whose grandfather Thomas Briggs was the headteacher of St. John's over 100 years ago! It was lovely to meet him and he spotted his grandfather straight away on our exhibition!
