'Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as you are doing.' 1Thessalonians 5:11

Here are a selection of fundraising activities we have taken part in as we live our value of Koinonia.

Living Waters Food Bank Collection

During Advent this year, we thought about local people who are struggling with the effects of the pandemic. Our church, St. John's, has been raising awareness of the local food bank and as a school, we felt it important to try and contribute. We are very thankful for the generosity and kindness shown by our children and families.

Save the Children - Christmas Jumper Day!

We held a Christmas Jumper Day to raise funds for Save the Children. We raised a super £165! Well done, everybody!

Royal British Legion

This year, we raised a fantastic £196.35 for the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal.

'At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,

We will remember them.'

Children in Need 2020

For Children in Need this year, we took part in a virtual zoom call with Pudsey! The children thoroughly enjoyed meeting him and on this fun day, we raised a brilliant £147 to help those children who don't have the advantages we do.

Bishop's Harvest Appeal - Tearfund

A huge thanks to our families and friends who have donated to the Bishop’s Harvest; raising money for Tearfund. We will be donating £110 to help the great work Tearfund are doing in areas such as Afar in Ethiopia to ensure communities have clean water.

Christingle Collection

Christmas Fair

Thank you to those children who donated bottles for our stall "Bottle on a String". The singing was beautiful too! Altogether we raised £83.40 for our Church, St John's.

Remembrance Sunday

It was lovely to see so many of our pupils paying their respects to those who have lost their lives.

Cancer Research

Coppull St John's took part in a sponsored spell and raised a fabulous £741 for Cancer Research. Well done everyone!

Guide Dogs

Over the year, Coppull St John's has raised an amazing £1100.01 to support the Guide Dog charity. Here is an update on a couple of our guide dogs.
