Coppull St. John's went to space

On Wednesday morning there was a huge surprise waiting for the children in the hall.

A gigantic stardome had arrived in our school hall to take us to space.

We were able to explore the stars during the day! 

Each class spent time inside the dome exploring the constellations, finding 'The Big Bear' and hearing stories about the different costellations in our night sky. 

The children really enjoyed their time in the dome and learnt a lot. 

It was a good start to the run up to British Science week next week where we will be looking at the theme of 'Exploration and Discovery'.
